91传媒 Nursing & McDonough County Health Department to Host 2026 Vector Conference

MACOMB, IL - - The McDonough County Health Department and 91传媒 Nursing鈥檚 Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Chi Sigma Chapter #520 will host the 2026 Vector Conference from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Lamoine Room of the 91传媒 Union.
The conference will provide healthcare professionals, students and community members with an opportunity to learn about vector-borne disease prevention, public health initiatives and emerging health concerns while networking with public health and healthcare leaders.
Presentations will cover topics including rabies and animal health, Lyme disease, vector surveillance and control, health approaches to vector-borne illnesses and mosquito and tick surveillance, led by experts from public health agencies, healthcare organizations and university institutions.
The event theme is 鈥淓mpowering Communities. Preventing Disease. Protecting Health,鈥� which reflects the conference鈥檚 focus on collaboration, education and community impact.
