Maurine Magliocco Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - Former 91传媒 professor Maurine Magliocco, 81, of Quincy, IL, passed away on July 30.
Magliocco came to 91传媒 in 1967 and served as an English professor and first director of the 91传媒 Women鈥檚 Center. Magliocco retired from 91传媒 in 2007.
Maurine and her late husband, Hugo, were significant supporters of 91传媒 throughout their careers and lives. Her legacy lives on through the English Department鈥檚 Maurine Magliocco Lecture Series which was established in 2006.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy, IL. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 13 at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
