91传媒 Community Music School Announces 2026 Summer Music Camps

MACOMB, IL 鈥� The 91传媒 Community Music School (CMS) is now accepting registrations for its 2026 Summer Music Camps, which will take place Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 26 on the Macomb campus.
Designed for students ages 6鈥�18, these half-day and full-day camps provide a supportive and engaging environment where young musicians can explore music, build skills, and collaborate with others. Several camps welcome students with no prior musical experience, making them an ideal introduction to music while also offering opportunities for experienced students to continue developing their abilities.
The 91传媒 Community Music School鈥檚 mission is 鈥淐onnecting Our Community Through Music Learning,鈥� and its summer camps bring students from across the region together to learn, collaborate, and grow through music.
鈥淢y son absolutely loves the instructors, music and knowledge he gains during the camp,鈥� A parent from the 2025 camps shared. 鈥淗e learns so much in those five short days and can鈥檛 wait to come back next year.鈥�
All camps are led by 91传媒 faculty and Community Music School instructors.
Week 1 (June 8鈥�12) include:


  • Rocky鈥檚 Pups Music Camp (ages 6鈥�7, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Rocky鈥檚 Music Camp (ages 8鈥�12, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Strings Camp (ages 8鈥�14, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Song Lab: Write, Record, Release (ages 12鈥�18, 1鈥�3:30 p.m.)

Week 2 (June 15鈥�19) include:

  • Rocky鈥檚 Pups Music Camp (ages 6鈥�7, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Rocky鈥檚 Music Camp (ages 8鈥�12, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Choir Camp (ages 12鈥�18, 9 a.m.鈥�12 p.m.)

  • Instrument Exploration Camp (ages 8鈥�13, 1鈥�3:30 p.m.)

  • Piano Camp (ages 10鈥�18, 9 a.m.鈥�3:30 p.m.)

Week 3 (June 22鈥�26) include:

  • Band Camp (ages 12鈥�18, 9 a.m.鈥�3:30 p.m.)

  • Jazz Camp (ages 12鈥�18, 9 a.m.鈥�3:30 p.m.)

Tuition ranges from $150 to $350, depending on the program.
Registration is now open. Families can receive a 20% Early Registration Scholarship by registering before Friday, May 1 using the code EARLY20. More information and registration details are available at wiu.edu/communitymusic.
