Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts Ribbon Cutting on Sept. 15

MACOMB, IL - - The time has come! 91´«Ã½ is thrilled to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.
This ceremony is the culmination of years of hard work and planning and the University is excited to share it with the public. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. ahead of the program. Refreshments and an open house will follow.

The Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts is the first new state-funded academic building at 91´«Ã½ in more than 40 years. It offers 100,000 square feet of performance, rehearsal and teaching space, supporting academic programs in Theatre, Music and Dance. The State of Illinois has invested $119 million into building the center, providing the Western Illinois region with a first-class destination for arts and culture.
The GCPA is a LEED Silver-certified facility, recognizing the building's sustainable design and construction.
