Steven Myers Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - 91传媒 mourns employee and alum Steven Myers, 58, of Macomb, who passed away on June 27.
Myers, a 2000 graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Recreation, Park, Tourism, and Hospitality, began working at 91传媒 as a grounds gardener in 2024 until his passing.
"Steven was a great employee and man," Superintendent of Landscape Maintenance Dustin Smith said. "He loved his job, was always willing to help others out and was just happy to be here. He was a joy to be around and will be truly missed."
He is survived by his mother, Esther Carol Myers, of Macomb; brother David Lawrence (Eileen) Myers of Silverthorne, CO; sisters, Kathryn Elaine Barrett of Orlando, FL, and Cynthia Louise (Scott) Teel of Colchester and his loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
"The 91传媒 community is saddened by the unexpected passing of Steven Myers," 91传媒 President Kristi Mindrup said. "We appreciate all that Steven contributed to the facilities team and 91传媒 and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and everyone left to honor his memory."
